Week of January 8-12
Good evening Forest City -Dunbar Families,
Tomorrow, January 8, students will return to school. We look forward to a great start to the second half of the school year. Report cards will be sent home this Thursday, January 11.
I have some exciting news to share that will positively impact our school community. We are thrilled to announce the introduction of the Atrium Health Levine Children’s School-Based Virtual Care program right here at
Forest City-Dunbar Elementary! This program is a fantastic initiative that will enhance the healthcare options available to our students and contribute to their overall well-being.
Here's how it works: Starting Monday, If your child becomes ill during the school day, with your consent, your child can connect with healthcare professionals from Atrium Health Levine Children's through secure video consultations. While your child sees the virtual provider, you can join by phone or video from wherever you are. Whether it's a minor illness or general health concerns, this program ensures that our students receive timely and expert care. I want to assure you
that privacy and confidentiality are top priorities. The virtual care platform adheres to the highest standards, ensuring a secure and confidential environment for our students.
We believe that this program will not only provide convenience for busy parents but also promote a healthier and happier school environment. Your child's well-being is our top priority, and Atrium Health Levine Children’s School-
Based Virtual Care aligns perfectly with our commitment to providing the best support possible.
If you have any questions or concerns about the program, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We are here to support you and ensure a smooth integration of this exciting new initiative.
Thank you for your continued trust and partnership. We look forward to the positive impact Atrium Health Levine Children’s School-Based Virtual Care will bring to our school community. Have a great evening!
