History
*Together We Can Make A Difference*
Our school started out as two individual schools, Forest City Elementary and Dunbar Elementary. Forest City Elementary was built in 1965 with first through eighth grades.
Later on Forest City Elementary changed to only have grades kindergarten through third grade. Dunbar Elementary was built in the 1950s also with first through eighth grades and later on changed to only have fourth and fifth grades.
In 2000 a new school was built to house the Dunbar students. In 2004, additional wings were added to also include the Forest City Elementary students, thus creating the new
"Forest City-Dunbar Elementary School"
We currently have as our Principal, Natalie Brown, and our Assistant Principal, Emily Shytle along with approximately 100 staff and teachers serving our approximate 500 students.
