Announcements October 12 - 16, 2020

Students who are signed up for Face-to-Face instruction will begin attending school 5 days per week beginning this Monday, October 12.  
 
Students who are on the Remote Only learning program will continue as usual.
 
The regular school day is 8:15-3:15.
 
The Young Scholars program will operate Mondays-Thursdays from 3:15-6:15 beginning Monday, October 12.  There is limited space in this program.  Student placement in the program is by invitation only and is based on academic need and teacher recommendation.  
 
Bus riders MUST have a Bus Attestation form completed and signed by their parents EVERY morning that they ride a bus.  Students who regularly fail to have a completed Attestation Form risk not being able to ride a bus in the future.
 
Students should wear a cloth face covering and their uniform to school every day.  Students who are coming to school for the first time will be given free washable cloth face coverings.  Additional cloth face coverings will be provided to those who are returning.

Student health and safety is our number one goal.  Please contact the school if your child is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or has been exposed to someone with COVID-19.  Do NOT send your child to school if they are symptomatic or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19.
 
Below are the daily COVID-19 screener questions.  These the answer must be NO to each question in order to enter the building.  Additionally, every student, staff member and visitor will have their temperature checked daily.  The temperature must be 100.3 degrees or less to enter the building.
 
1. Have you had close contact (within 6 feet for at least 15 minutes) in the last 14 days with someone diagnosed with COVID-19, or has any health department or health care provider been in contact with you and advised you to quarantine?
 
2. Since you were last at school, have you had any of these symptoms:  fever, chills, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, new cough, new loss of taste or smell?
 
3. Since you were last at school have you been diagnosed with COVID-19?
