This is the last regular week of school for the 2022-23 school year! The last day is this Friday, June 9. Students will dismiss early at 12:00 on Friday.
Tomorrow, Monday June 5 is Field Day for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders.
Yearbooks will be distributed on Monday, June 5 to students who have purchased them.
Teachers have sent out messages about individual classroom end of year awards ceremonies that will take place this week. If you are unsure of your child's awards program date and time, please click the link below:
The following grades will take field trips this week:
June 5 - 1st grade to PoPs and Crowe Park in Forest City
June 6 - 5th grade fishing trip
June 7 - 2nd grade to the Forest City Pool
The Talent Show is scheduled for this Thursday, June 8 beginning at 6:00. This event will showcase 3rd, 4th and 5th graders who have auditioned to participate.
5th Grade Graduation ceremony is Friday, June 9 at 10:00 in the gym.
Select students received invitations to the full day summer school program that operates June 14 - 30 from 8:15-3:15 each day. This includes the 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders who were invited to attend remediation and retesting. Please return the letter this week to confirm your child's attendance for participation in retesting or summer school.
The Young Scholars program will operate the summer intersession program from June 19 - 30 from 8:15-12:30 each day. Note that this program is a shorter day than the Summer School program. Any student who was NOT invited to attend the Summer School program may attend the Young Scholars summer program instead. We will send home Young Scholars invitations this week. Please return that form this week if you are interested in your child attending.
