5th graders will take the Science NC Checkin on Monday, April 24.
Running Club members should bring their permission form for the Leader of the Pack 5K tomorrow, Monday April 24. This will ensure you are signed up for the race and get your t-shirt. The race is Saturday, May 6 at 8:30 am at McNair field in Forest City.
Each year we ask parents/guardians to complete a survey to give us feedback on our implementation of the Leader in Me. These questions cover a range of topics that will help us understand what we are doing well and what we need to improve on. Please take the time to complete the survey linked below. Yearbooks are on sale now for $15 each. They will be delivered in late May. We have ordered a limited number. Yearbook sales are on a first come, first serve basis. So, order yours soon!
Kindergarten Registration for the 2023-24 school year is now open. If your child turns 5 by August 30, 2023, he/she is eligible to start kindergarten next school year. Stop by the school during regular school hours to pick up a Kindergarten Registration packet. Please spread the word to anyone you know with a child who is eligible to start kindergarten next year.
Kindergarten Orientation is scheduled for this Thursday, April 27 from 4:00-6:00 at Forest City - Dunbar.
Due to Kindergarten Orientation, there will be NO Young Scholars after-school program this Thursday, April 27.
