We return to our regular school schedule, including the Young Scholars after school program, tomorrow Monday, April 3. We look forward to having our students back to begin the final 9-week grading period of this school year.
Reports Cards for the 3rd grading period will go home this Thursday, April 6.
There will be NO school Friday, April 7 and Monday, April 10 in recognition of the Easter holiday. While the rest of the district will be on spring break, FC-Dunbar will have regular school days April 11 - 14.
As you plan your calendar for the last quarter of this school year, please keep in mind that the last day for school for this school year for students at Forest City - Dunbar will be Friday, June 9. This is later than the final day for students on the regular Rutherford County Schools calendar.
Kindergarten Registration for the 2023-24 school year is now open. If your child turns 5 by August 30, 2023, he/she is eligible to start kindergarten next school year. Stop by the school during regular school hours to pick up a Kindergarten Registration packet. Please spread the word to anyone you know with a child who is eligible to start kindergarten next year. Kindergarten Orientation is scheduled for April 27 from 4:00-6:00 at Forest City - Dunbar.
