Mid-year benchmark assessments including MAP tests (K-5) and mClass Reading tests (K-3) will take place this week. Encourage your child to be prepared and do their best on these tests. The results will help us know how your child is progressing toward grade-level goals.
December 8 the 4th grade will perform a music program in the gym. Parents and family are invited to attend.
December 9 at 1:30, 1st grade will host a parent event. Look for more information from your child's teacher.
There will be no Young Scholars after school program this Thursday, December 8.
Looking Ahead:
As part of Polar Express day on Thursday, December 15, students will have the opportunity to ride the Little Blue Choo, a small motorized train that will run in the front parking area. We are asking students to bring $3 to help pay for the cost of the train. Any student riding MUST have a waiver form signed by their parent/guardian to ride the Little Blue Choo. We will send home the waiver form and announcement about the cost in a letter this week.
Next Friday, December 16 is a half day for students. We will dismiss at 12:00 that day.
Winter Spirit Week will be December 12-16. Each day has a special theme. Students who participate will be allowed to wear clothes other than their uniform.

Wednesday, December 14 - Christmas Stockings - Wear Christmas Socks
