Announcements October 31 - November 4,

Students will be allowed to purchase an Icee from the Serendipity Snowballs truck Friday, November 4 beginning at 12:45. Icees are $2 each. Students are asked to pay and make their choice of flavor before Friday, November 4. Icee flavor choices are Tiger's Blood, Blue Raspberry, Sour Apple or Grape. Please send money with your child before Friday!

 

There will be NO Young Scholars after school program on Monday, October 31 so we don't conflict with Halloween activities.  There will also be no Young Scholars on Thursday, November 3 due to a scheduled faculty meeting.

 

Students should NOT wear costumes to school on Monday, October 31.  It is a regular uniform clothing day on Monday.

 

We will hold a Zoom meeting for parents of 3rd graders on Thursday, November 3 at 1:30.  During this meeting we will share information about the state requirements of the Read to Achieve program.  Third graders are expected to perform on grade level reading by the end of the year.  In this Zoom meeting, we will explain the strategies for meeting this goal with our students.  Below is the link to the Zoom meeting.  We hope you can attend, but if you are not able to we will record the meeting and share it with you.
