June 27 - July 1 is the final week of the Summer School and Young Scholars Summer program.
The Young Scholars Summer program will take a field trip to the Charlotte Motor Speedway on Wednesday, June 29. Students will back to school from the trip at 3:00 on Wednesday.
Kindergarten Camp will take place this week from 8:15-12:30 Monday-Friday. This is for any student beginning kindergarten for the first time in the new school year. We look forward to meeting our newest FCD students this week.
Kindergarten Registration for the 2022-23 school year is open. Children who turn 5 years old on or before August 31, 2022 are eligible to enroll in kindergarten for next school year. Parents and guardians can stop by the school during regular school hours to pick up a kindergarten registration packet.
Mark your calendars for the start of the new school year! As a year round school, FCD starts back in July. We will host an Open House / Meet the Teacher event on Thursday, July 14 from 3:00-6:00.
