Announcements December 13 - 17, 2021

Due to the fact that Rutherford County's COVID-19 transmission rate was in the "High" range for 7 consecutive days, Rutherford County Schools will return to a "Mask Required" environment in the classroom setting beginning tomorrow, Monday, December 13.  All students, staff, and visitors will be required to wear face coverings within the school environment.   Masks continue to be required on school buses and activity buses.

We made a mistake on the flyer sent home last week regarding the cost of the "Little Blue Choo" train ride on Polar Express Day Thursday, December 16.  The actual cost of the "Little Blue Choo" train ride is $3, NOT $6 as stated in the flyer.  If you have already submitted the $6, you will be sent a note asking you to indicate if you want to be reimbursed the extra $3 you paid or if you want to credit that money to future Icee sales, which we do monthly.  If you have not yet paid, please submit the $3 before Thursday, December 16.  ALL student riders MUST have a permission/waiver form signed by their guardian in order to ride the train.  We are sorry for any confusion the incorrect note has caused.

Students will be allowed to purchase an Icee from the Serendipity Snowballs truck this Wednesday, December 15 beginning at 12:45.  This was rescheduled from last Friday.  Icees are $2 each. Students are asked to pay and make their choice of flavor before Wednesday, December 15. Icee flavor choices are Tiger's Blood, Blue Raspberry, Sour Apple or Grape. Please send money with your child before Wednesday!

Thursday, December 16 is Polar Express Day.  In addition to the "Little Blue Choo" train ride, there will be hot chocolate served, book give-aways, and other Polar Express themed activities throughout the day.  Students are encouraged to wear pajamas on Polar Express Day.
