Families are invited to come to our Fall Family Fun Night on Thursday October 28 from 5:30-7:00. This is a joint event between our school and PTO. The school will hold a FREE parent engagement event in the school building focusing on STEAM - Science Technology Engineering Art Math activities. The PTO "Fall Festival" event is a fundraiser with games and food for sale outside in the front driveway area. A flyer was sent home last week with the prices of armbands and other information about the PTO Fall Festival. You can find this flyer on our Facebook page or ClassDojo page.
Students are invited to wear family friendly Halloween costumes to the Family Fun Night. However, students should NOT wear costumes during the regular school day.
There will be NO Young Scholars After School program this Thursday, October 28 due to the Fall Family Fun Night.
We will celebrate "Red Ribbon Week" this week October 25-29. Red Ribbon Week is a time to focus on being drug-free. Each day this week will be a different theme.
Monday - "Stomp Out Drugs" - Wear Boots
Tuesday - "Put a Cap on Drugs" - Wear a hat and wear RED
Wednesday - "Make Bright Choices" - Wear bright colors
Thursday - "Drugs Can't Find Me" - Wear camouflage
Friday - "Be a Hero and Stand Up to Drugs" - Wear Superhero clothing.
Rutherford County Schools is collecting donations for Toys for Tots to help children in need this holiday season. Donations of $1 will get your child's name on a Toys for Tots cut-out train displayed in the front office.
