Tuesday, March 30 our face-to-face 5th grade students will take the Science NC Checkin Test. This assessment will help our teachers know what our 5th graders know and what they need to work on as they prepare for the 5th Grade Science EOG test in May.
Friday, April 2 is an Optional Teacher Workday and Remote Learning Day for ALL students. Students will have independent assignments to complete on Friday - there will be no direct Zoom lessons that day.
Friday, April 2 is the last day of the 5th grading period.
Spring Break will be Monday, April 5 - 9. There will be NO SCHOOL for students that week.
Please make sure your child brings his/her iPad to school, fully charged every day. They should also bring their charger with them each day. Please be aware that we will do a device check after spring break for face-to-face and remote students. We will check devices for damages and missing pieces such as the charger box and charger cable. If your child has misplaced any piece of their charger, these parts will have to be paid for before new pieces can be issued. Chargers or cables bought from outside stores cannot be used to replace the original charger/cable issued to your child. Chargers/cables that are damaged can be turned in to the school for a replacement. You will receive further information about device checks after Spring Break.
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN for the 2021-22 school year!
If your child turns five years old by August 31st, 2021, they are eligible to start kindergarten.
