As has been announced, Rutherford County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Friday, October 30. This means that the school day will officially begin at 10:15 am on Friday. Look for buses to arrive 2 hours later than on a normal day. You may drop your child off as early as 9:30 am on Friday morning.
We will continue with our scheduled Fall Picture Day on Friday, October 30. Face to Face students will have their picture made with their class scheduled times starting at 10:30 and should conclude at about 1:30. Therefore, the Remote Only students time for pictures tomorrow will be adjusted as well.
Remote Only students can come to have their picture made between 1:30pm - 3:00pm. Remote only students can come anytime between 1:30-3:00. Remember to come to the gym door where the parents will be asked the COVID screening questions and have temperatures taken. Parents are welcome to come in with your child, but will also have to be screened. Staff will be there to direct you where to go. Don't forget students and adults must wear cloth face coverings while on campus. They can be removed for the picture.
In the event that school is cancelled on Friday, we will notify you at a later date of the reschedule date.
PTO Doughnut pickup will continue as scheduled tomorrow, Friday, October 30. Doughnut order pickup on Friday, October 30 will be between 8am-12:30pm and 2:30-3pm. This will be done as a curbside pickup at the gym entrance area. You do not have to enter the building to pick up your order. Doughnut orders can NOT be sent home with students. Please plan to pick up your orders on Friday! We will proceed with the doughnut pickup even if school is cancelled on Friday. Please note that doughnuts will be picked up fresh Friday Morning from the Krispy Kreme store.
