Monday, May 25 - Memorial Day Holiday - NO Remote Learning Assignments
There will be NO MEAL SERVICE on Monday, May 25.
Free Meals will continue to be available at FC-Dunbar M-F from 10:00-1:00 through June 11.
There will be no food deliveries after June 11. Beginning June 12, there will be six schools throughout our district that members of our community can visit and continue to pick up meals through June 30. East Rutherford Middle, Ellenboro Elementary, Forrest Hunt Elementary, Harris Elementary, Mt. Vernon-Ruth Elementary School, and Spindale Elementary will continue to offer meal pick-up from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm Monday through Friday. Remember that this service is provided to any child ages 0 - 18. You are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity. After June 30 the remote food service program will no longer be offered by Rutherford County Schools in order for us to assess the most current guidance from state and local officials. If we are able to offer this service again to our community, this information will be shared at a later date. Kindergarten Registration is open NOW. Stop by the school M-F between 8:00-3:30 to pick up and turn in a Kindergarten Registration Packet.
Yearbooks are on sale for $15 each. You may turn in your money anytime the school is open. We will give you the yearbook when you make the payment.
Looking ahead, the final student work distribution for the school year will be Monday, June 1. Printed packets for PreK-2nd grade and 3-5 students who request printed packets will be available for pickup that day from 10:00-6:00. Any 3rd, 4th, or 5th grader needing a printed work packet will need to request copies be made no later than Friday, May 29. You may request copies through your child's teacher or by calling the school. All other 3-5 work will be shared through the Canvas program.
