We at Forest City – Dunbar hope you and your family are well during these trying times. Please communicate to your child that their teachers and principals miss them and look forward to working with them through remote learning experiences.
Forest City – Dunbar will distribute student assignments and iPads on Monday, March 30 from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm. The following items will be available for pickup that day:
Printed Work Packets – PreK, Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd
iPads – upon parent request for Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd
iPads – all 3rd, 4th, 5th
Report Cards for the 3rd Grading Period – 3rd, 4th, 5th
Spring Picture Packets – anyone who ordered them
Distribution will be done through drive-thru pick up ONLY. To minimize exposure, we ask that you do not exit your vehicle; ONLY those in the drive-thru line will be served. When you arrive, pull to the car rider line at the front of the building. You will be asked to provide your child’s name and their teacher’s name, then sign a device usage waiver form if you are taking an iPad. The materials and devices will then be brought to you in your vehicle.
Free meals for children 18 and under will also be available for you to pick up from 10:00-6:00 that day.
For the safety of the public, please DO NOT come to the pick up if you are sick or have been exposed to someone who is sick.
In order to keep the pick-up line moving, we will not be able to have extended conversations or answer detailed questions during distribution. However, do not hesitate to call the school on following days for assistance.
