Spring Intersession Break continues this week. There will be no regular school for students from Monday, March 14 through Friday, March 31. Students will return to begin the final 9 week grading period on Monday, April 3.
As you plan your calendar for the last quarter of this school year, please keep in mind that the last day for school for this school year for students at Forest City - Dunbar will be Friday, June 9. This is later than the final day for students on the regular Rutherford County Schools calendar.
This is the second and final week of the Young Scholars Spring Intersession program. The Young Scholars Spring Intersession program operates Monday through Friday this week from 8:30-12:30 each day. Students may be dropped off no earlier than 8:00 am each day.
Kindergarten Registration for the 2023-24 school year is now open. If your child turns 5 by August 30, 2023, he/she is eligible to start kindergarten next school year. Stop by the school during regular school hours to pick up a Kindergarten Registration packet. Please spread the word to anyone you know with a child who is eligible to start kindergarten next year. Kindergarten Orientation is scheduled for April 27 from 4:00-6:00 at Forest City - Dunbar.
The school office will be open from 8:00-3:30 this week.
